Welcome to Armagh Observatory Meteorology Databank

This database is operated by the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium as a resource for education, scientific research and the general public. It has been made possible through a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Irish Soldiers and Sailors Land Trust provided funding for the calibration of the raw data.

Meteorological data from the Armagh Observatory weather station is available from 1794 to the present day. It can be accessed directly from the scanned logs from each month. The full information available from this website can be obtained through the Site Contents link on the menu bar to the left. and work is underway to provide the complete record in plain text format.
